For a better overview of the chord/disagreement categories, we conclude for each point the number of times the children and parents chose the same response category (“child-parent”), the number of times the parent chose a more isolated response category than the child (“parent > child”), and the number of times the child chose a higher response category than the parent (“child >”). The different distributions of these categories are presented in Figure 1. The phone contract sample below can start you and your child. Use the contract as it is or treat it according to your own rules and consequences. Check the contract regularly when circumstances and challenges may change. In terms of physical activity, the parent-child agreement was higher for organized physical activity than for non-organized activity.
This is consistent with the results of a previous study and the assumption that consistency will be higher for clearly defined behaviours. In the case of unsealed physical activity, the low level of support between parent and child observed in this study is comparable to the agreement established in previous studies [9,11]. Cases where children reported more physical activity than their parents were more common than in cases where the parent reported more physical activity. This may indicate that parents do not know to what extent their children are physically active when they are not present. In addition, children and parents may have different knowledge of how to define uns organized physical activities, for example. B whether or not cycling or walking should be considered a physical activity.
